Employee of the Year Award

The Prestigious John Sum Employee of the Year Award is named for John Sum, who was Mike New's Grandfather-in-law. John played an instrumental part in the early days of New Industries, tirelessly working countless volunteer hours to get us ready for production and then helping with production once it started. In 1999 to honor John for all the hard work he put into helping make New Industries, the board of directors decided to name this award after him and make him the first ever recipient of the award, which bears his name. Shortly after receiving the award John came to work in the morning, went out for the evening and after returning home he suddenly past away.

January 1, 2006 Congratulations to Kevin Yoder, who receives The Prestigious John Sum Employee of the Year Award for the year 2005. Kevin will be forever immortalized on The Prestigious John Sum Employee of the Year Award plaque and web page. We would like to thank Kevin for his dedication and hard work.
